Harang, Arroyo Clear Waivers

Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports is reporting that Reds starting pitchers Aaron Harang and Bronson Arroyo have cleared waivers.
Harang is under contract for next season at $12.5 million, Arroyo at $11 million. (Cincinnati holds club options on both for 2011.) The Reds would probably need to assume a portion of that money in order to move either pitcher.
Aaron Harang is 6-13, with a 4.43 ERA in 23 starts.Bronson Arroyo is 10-11, with a 5.04 ERA in 24 starts.

Put of the two I'd rather they went after Harang, Arroyo stinks. They're going to need another starter down the stretch, but I'm not sure it should be either of these two.

Meh, before this series I would have wanted them to pounce on Harang but they have a nice solid cushion now.

They're going to try Gaudin before they go out and spend a ton of money on these guys. Unless they nosedive then no thanks.

Not interested both Arroyo and Harang are flyball pitchers they will get killed in the al east and in the new stadium.

I like the idea of having sinkerball pitchers or strikeout power pitchers. Those are the pitches that are best suited for the new stadium. Yanks need to find a better sinkerball pitcher than Mitre though.

If the Reds payed about half his contract, I'd love to have Harang. If not, forget about it.
