Jose Veras DFA by Indians
The life of a MLB reliever sure is filled with a lot of ups and downs. Last year this guy was a major part of the Yankees pen, now he's pretty much useless. Today he was designated for assignment by the Indians after posting a 7.62 ERA in 13 innings for the Tribe.
Would anyone be surprised if he ended up back in the Yankees system?

Damn... being DFA'd by the Indians is like being called fat by Rosie O'Donnell.
I don't know why, but I feel bad for him.
I understand. He just couldn't command his pitches. Doesn't make him a bad guy... just a lousy pitcher.
lol Greg I feel bad for him too for some reason. I always like Veras even when he wasn't pitching well. Seems like a good guy.
