"These are humbling deals," Beckett said after the 8-4 loss. "That was a whupping I got today. That's the only words I've got to sum it up."

I despise Josh Beckett, so hearing him sound defeated pretty much made my day. Plus, it's always great to see arrogant Red Sox get knocked down a few pegs.

I just realized that Greg Cohen is one of the three clowns in the booth for SNY.
No, that's Gary Cohen.
Guarantee he hits someone next time we face him.

That's fine Anon, that just means Matsui will hit a two run homer then. :)
To bad he didn't say something we could use like pedros "what can i say i just tip my hat and call the yankees my daddy"
Whose your daddy?
You know what the problem is with "who's your daddy"? 2004 ALCS. They had the last laugh.
I also despise Beckett but I try and take these situations one battle at a time because the minute you think you have them beat something bad happens.
True, but '04 went down the way it did because of the Yankees lack of starting pitching depth, and an overworked bullpen that only had three good arms in it.
Oh, and Curt Schilling.
I agree....just saying though
