Boston already up 6-0 on KC in the 3rd. The Yanks better win tonight.
Hey Greg,
I think they really need to make a statement in the next 6 games or go into the play offs on the back foot
Hey Roger, how's it going?
I completely agree.
What the fuck is Molina doing in this lineup?
Girardi said he wanted to load up on righties so no Matsui. While I don't agree with that, I also think Cervelli should get the nod over Molina. He's an automatic out and an auto DP with a runner on first.
I hope Coke gets better soon.
Your right Greg. Molina is an easy out.
Wow. YES just reminded me. Tonight is the 1-year anniversary of the final game at Yankee Stadium.
How time flies.
I know. It seemed like yesterday when we were saying, "who would hit the last homer".
By the way, I changed my question on my profile.
Oh. I just enabled access for my profile, if you want to check it out.
I love AC/DC.
If you read my question, you have to give me 3 articles of evidence.
Um, okay...
Hahahahahaha, my brother wanted me to write that. He's such a bonehead.
Wait, what do you mean by articles? Newspaper articles on chickens, or just like 3 notes on why i like chickens?
Oh. lol
3 reasons why.
My brother doesn't know what the meaning of articles means. He just wrote it to be funny.
Wow, that's so cheap. The Angels were just playing Enter Sandman as their like warmup song.
Mo must be mad. Not really. He must not give a crap.
Yeah. Derek leads it off with a single.
At least the double play wasn't turned. Here's Teix!
Hold on, i'm going to think of another question.
Some early runs is what we really need
Nice play by Figgins. Lucky the 2nd baseman dropped it.
Come on A-Rod, let's get us started!
New question!!
Shoot.
hahahahaha or else what?
hummmmmmmmmmmm? I'll be back with an answer.
Or else you have to speek like James Bottom Tooth on Family Guy.
ovfwbsffpjway
how's that?
Almost their.
Oh. Figgins walks to lead off the inning.
Crap.
When you say hello, it's
homehgfyrhdheeeeeee.
I'm tired, i'm going to hit the hay and then i'll go to bed. Night.
Same. Later.
When you say night it's
kdghagky
lol
Wow KC just took the lead of Red Sox
Just as well KC is on the verge of a miraculous comeback because we're doing jack shit here. We're in a real funk at the moment, particularly A-Rod. And it's not even October yet!!!
they'll straighten it out, the pitching other then CC and Andy has been a hard problem to solve of late. AJ needs to get on his stride and he should build from his last start in Seattle.
the hitting will come back, once we get back at home this road trip will be a thing of the past.
KC wins!!!!!
Come on Yanks, lets start winning this one now!!!
Burnett is the key to the postseason. He is suppose to be the number 2 80 million dollar starter. He is the one that needs to step up in the playoffs.
Andy is a reliable number 3 starter.
Joba is young inexperienced pitcher. He is the wildcard due to his problems with his mechanics. He could be really good or really bad. But Joba is the 4th starter he is really only going to pitch 1 game in the alcs and worldseries. You can survive with Joba has your 4 starter. Both CC and AJ last year pitched on 3 days rest.
Yeah, but right now we need someone to hit. Making Saunders look like a CY Young winner.
Molina's in the lineup because Jorge Posada can't catch period, unless you call giving up 7 runs like yesterday helping our team.
Furthermore, Girardi knows that he can't have a catcher giving up 6 runs per game and not even knowing how to tag anyone out at home DURING the playoffs. And he's trying to figure out a playoff lineup WITHOUT Posada at catcher because Posada SUCKS.
Not that old chestnut. Boring.
Bruney absolutely sucks. He shouldn't even be on the post season roster. I don't even trust him in a blow out.
He sucks each and every outing.
Another managing move that makes no sense -- Bruney gets the call before anyone else, and what do you know, he gives up a run.
Terrible managing.
Now he sends Matsui up as a pinch-hitter against a left but doesn't start him? What the hell is Girardi thinking?
And, yea, this team will do real good in the playoff. NOT! This is still the same loser team under Brian Cashman. This team has fallen apart because of Cashman's failure as a GM.
Every time this team has a chance to win a playoff type game or qualify for the playoffs they bomb. This current team will go NOWHERE in the playoffs. They dont have the pitching, thanks to Cashman and if they start Posada then they deserve what they get.
... And he homers. Please tell me why Molina had to start tonight?
I was just wondering the same thing Greg.
Albaladejo now? What the hell is going on here?
Are Hughes and Aceves both hurt?
Girardi just doesn't get it. He rests players before the division is won and then has Molina catching in game one of an important series against the second or third best team in the AL. I'm beginning to think he's just lucked out this season with the bullpen. If we're not 3 runs ahead he treats the game as though it's over. This was our chance to wrest the momentum back from the Red Sox tonight and it looks like we've blown it.
It's been ten games now that Girardi has managed as if this thing was over and they're three outs from falling to 4-6 in those games. Thank goodness KC came back tonight.
Yeah, but we can't keep relying on them. We need to win our own games.
And there's the insurance run the Joe Girardi desperately wanted to give the Angels.
Pathetic. I was sitting there wondering why Albaladejo was still pitching.
WTF??? Way to half ass the game! Does Joe not realize that the Angles have owned the Yanks here?
He must be scoreboard watching and thought the game didn't mean jack shit.
I have to vent for a second. Between Matsui sitting on the bench, Swisher being in the 5 hole and this pitiful bullpen management, Girardi is really starting to annoy me
I can only assume he doesn't care about winning the division and wants to rest Hughes and Aceves for the playoffs??? With Gaudin pitching tomorrow night, I don't fancy our chances of winning this series now. More likely it will be a case of AJ pitching to avoid the sweep. I know we've had a great season (so far) but the last two weeks we've sucked.
Here's something most people need to understand, just because you can win as a player doesn't mean you can win as a manager, especially when it really counts. Girardi did a great job for most of the year, but he's complete shit the bed since.
Come on Cano!!!
This team is absolutely flat and it starts from the manager on down!
Another Girardi loss. He's really is handing this thing away. And if Boston doesn't want to win the division Girardi will certainly help the Angels lock up best record.
Joe had a bad night. Why use Albaldelejo in the 8th? I thought he was going to use Marte to face Abreu and then bring in Aceves, since he didn't want to use Hughes down 2 runs. I thought that was his reasoning for using Bruney in the 7th with no Coke/Robertson. But then I was shocked to see Albaledejo in the 8th.
The yankees offense takes a huge hit. The yanks are the kings of the solo homerun. They can play that way at the stadium. But on the road againt playoffs teams they need to manufacture runs and not always wait for the 3 run home run. Saunder had a 4.75 era coming into tonights game.
Melky is in another slump. He doesn't have the baltimore and toronto pitchers to pad his stats.
Gardner is hitting 500 in his last 8 at bats with 2 walks. What happened to just riding the hot bat like Girardi was doing all year long?
Knew this was going to be a tough trip. Hoped for 3-3 but now I'll be happy if we just manage to win one in LA.
Rough road trip Girardi called this an important trip. When Mariano blew the save you knew this was going to be a bad road trip.
Now you have Gaudin tommorow trying to stop the 2 game losing streak.
Good news is red sox had a really rough loss so you knock a game out of the schedule. And they face Grienke tommorow.
