Ian Kennedy Called Up
According to Bryan Hoch, Ian Kennedy has been called up and will be used as a long reliever. I did not see that coming.

Good for Ian Kennedy! A month or two ago they didn't think he would be ready to pitch until winter ball. The yankees must of been very impressed with how great he pitched in scranton's playoff game and rewarded him by calling him up.
I know a lot of people are down on Kennedy. But I think he will become a good starting pitcher. Kennedy has a very similar style of pitching to Aceves.
Generation Trey back together again!
Very true Anon #1.
wow... that was fast!
What?
Oh Kennedy. My bad.
Interesting, it'll just be a tease but its good to see him back.
Even if he struggles, its good to see him back and if he does well he could recapture some of the glow from a year or two ago.
I agree Mike.
It'd be cool if he could regain the potential we saw two years ago when him, Hughes and Joba were supposed to be main stays in our rotation in the future. I really see him as a dark horse next year. If they move Hughes back into the rotation, they'll likely do the same stuff they did with Joba this year, and Kennedy could get some innings to protect him. He likely won't be higher than 7th on the depth chart, but we saw this year, even in mainly healthy years for starters, your going to need at LEASt 7-8 starters to make it through the years.
Anyways, to end my rant, I hope he can bounce back. That be a big boost for the club and for him. Him and Hughes caught a lot of hate for last year, and Hughes has won the fans back. I hope Kennedy does the same.
