Kennedy Throws Live BP

CBS Sports is reporting that Ian Kennedy threw batting practice today for the first time since he had an aneurysm removed from his right biceps.

He threw 30 pitches on Wednesday, and is set to throw another BP session on Saturday. He could then throw a two-inning simulated game on Tuesday.

"It was fun to finally get some competitive juices flowing and to see some hitters," Kennedy said. "I'm surprised I wasn't tired at the end."
