MLB Won't Punish A-Rod

From the AP via ESPN:
Major League Baseball will not punish Alex Rodriguez after completing its investigation into whether he lied about his use of performance-enhancing drugs, the New York Times reported Saturday.

Investigators reached out to several of the Yankees third baseman's associates in May to examine whether he used drugs for a longer period than he has acknowledged
I figured nothing would come out of that, either way it's good news.

True.

I had a little hint in my mind that A-Rod would not be suspended and or fined. If they didn't do it to Jason Giambi, Gary Sheffield, Pudge Rodriguez, etc.; they weren't going to do it to Alex Rodriguez.

Can people please - in this case Al Leiter - stop with the nonsense that Burnett has a breakout year last year. He had a high win total, but based on ERA+ his best seasons 2002, 2007, and 2006... 2007 was his 8th best year of his career, nothing close to a breakout season.
