This is pretty good news. Robertson is an important, underrated part of what can be a stellar 'pen.
Agreed.
Great news Robertson was becoming Girardi middle reliever instead of just pitching a low leverage situations like he did in a couple of months ago.
Girardi was giving the ball to him in the 7th and having Bruney pitch the 8th when Hughes was saving games. Girardi is starting to trust Robertson a lot more.
He has potential to be the future 8th innning setup guy.
