A rowdy fan caused a distraction on Thursday night when he threw a baseball from the stands that bounced off the ground and nearly hit Yankees relief pitcher Alfredo Aceves.Apparently this isn't the first time Jays fans have shown their class this season as Peter Abraham points on in this post.
The fan -- who celebrated his throw by raising his arms and cheering -- was ejected. Aceves, who didn't notice the ball coming in his direction until it hit the ground, didn't seem too fazed.
"I don't know if he tried to hit me or if he just threw the ball," Aceves said. "I think he just threw the ball to the field."
"That's disturbing," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "We've had some issues here. But I mean, the guy got thrown out. They did the right thing. You just hope that fans are respectful of players. These are human being that are out on the field and you don't want to hurt anyone. You can show your frustration other ways."
Look guys, I know it frustrating when your GM is a moron and your team has been a joke for 15 years, but it's OK you still have hockey. Oh wait, nevermind, the Maple Leafs suck too.

Couldn't have said it any better myself, Greg. Typical Canadiens...
Remember this is the same country that riots every time one of their cities wins the Stanley cup.
Didn't they suspend alcohol purchases in the Rogers Center? I thought they had some incident there earlier this year and were cut off.
Danny, give me a break. Did you see what happened in LA when the Lakers won? That's not the only time it's happened in the US either.
And if our national pastime went to Canada and we only had 6 teams left I think we'd get excited when one of our teams won too.
Plus the Stanley Cup is the best and hardest trophy to win.
But yea that fan was a douche and too bad it wasn't a hockey game when Tie Domi was still around or he might have tried to fight him!
f*ck hockey lol
Check out this article from yahoo sports...I found it funny. It involves papelbon getting fined.

People still watch hockey?
Bootleg, that is not fair to LA because rioting is the civic pastime in that city. Besides that, you give me a break, It's called sarcasm. I grew up a Ranger fan in the 80's, you know what that was like until 1994?
Not really Danny, the Devils have won three times since I went to my first game in '86. ;)
