News & Notes

- At 103-59 the Yankees had the best record in all of baseball. And at 46-35 they had the second best road record in the American League, behind only the Angels (48-33).

- The Yankees and Angels split the season series winning five games each. The Yankees were 2-4 against the Angels this year at Angel Stadium. Including the postseason the Yankees are 8-6 against the Angels.

- In six career starts against the Angles, A.J. Burnett is 2-2, with a 4.43 ERA. In four starts in Anaheim Burnett is 1-2, with a 4.23 ERA. His only win came this year on September 23rd.
