Joba Will Be On The ALDS Roster

According to Erik Boland of Newsday, Joe Girardi said that Joba Chamberlain will be on the Yankees' ALDS roster.
"We anticipate using him anywhere from one inning to a couple of hitters to if we need distance, we can use him there as well," said Girardi, who added that a determination of a 10- or 11-man staff hadn't been decided.
If it were up to me, which is obviously isn't (damn), I'd go with an 11-man pitching staff. With the lineup the Yankees have they're not going to need that deep of a bench in a 5-game series, and you can always use an extra arm in the pen.

As for Joba it looks like he's going to be a combination of middle reliever/long man, which is basically the role Alfredo Aceves had all season. This adds significant depth to the Yankees pen and should make the already strong bridge to Mariano even stronger.
