Phils Picks Up Lee's Option for 2010

According to SI.com, the Phillies have picked up Cliff Lee's $9 million option for the 2010 season. This was a no-brainer for the Phillies, who are getting one of the leagues best pitchers at roughly half the price of what he's worth.
