Yanks Decline Mitre's Option

The NY Post is reporting that the Yankees have declined Sergio Mitre's $1.25 million option for the 2010 season. Mitre is arbitration eligible so he's still under Yankees control. There was talk earlier this offseason that the Yanks wanted to keep him around, so I expect them to come to some sort of deal.
