Cubs Might Be Interested In Melky or Gardner

Chicago GM Jim Hendry may also consider trades. One of the Yankees’ young outfielders — Melky Cabrera or Brett Gardner — could become available this offseason, depending upon how their roster evolves.

As of now I see no reason to trade either, but if the Yankees do sign another outfielder than someone will have to go. But I don't see this happening mainly because I don't think the Yankees are going to add another bat.
