A Bidding War For Damon? WTF?

The Tigers, according of FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, are apparently prepared to offer Damon a contract for two years, $14 million. Oh, it gets better. The Braves and White Sox, SI's Jon Heyman reports, have also emerged as contenders. It's a bidding war!

How on God's green earth did that happen?

I'm still not quite sure I believe it all, but there's got to be something to all these rumors.
