Feinsand Chats With The Captain

From Mark Feinsand:
“It all goes back to what I always say, if you pitch you have a chance to win. We had great pitchers last year. Our pitchers did a great job. Our bullpen did a great job as well. As long as we stay healthy, I like our chances…I like the team we have.”
On the new acquisitions:
Jeter said the front office “did a good job.”
On Vazquez:
“People forget, he made the All-Star team the first half when he was with us. There might have been some issues in the second half, (but) he’s been a great pitcher for a long time.”
On Granderson:
“he’s a great guy.”
On Johnny Damon's likely departure:
“You always hope guys come back throughout the years. But you realize it’s a business and for whatever reason guys move on. I enjoyed playing with Johnny. Wherever he goes, I wish him the best.”
Typical Jeter.
