Hank Steinbrenner thinks the Yankees are in a strong position to repeat as World Series champion due to the acquisition of pitcher Javier Vazquez and outfielder Curtis Granderson.As far as Jeter's contract goes, Steinbrenner said, "We’ll get into all of that eventually. Jeter’s place in Yankee history is obvious, so I think you can pretty much assume from there.”

Sounds like Hank has no plans to let Jeter play anywhere else, which is exactly the attitude the entire organization should have regarding The Captain. It would be wrong on so many levels if Jeter were to ever play anywhere but with the Yanks.
