Another Update On The New Writers

The decision making process is coming to an end. Sorry it's taking this long, but this is a really tough decision for me because everyone who emailed me is more than qualified to write here. If you're not picked, please do not get offended. If I could have 20 writers and not have it be overkill, I would. There wasn't one person out of the group who sent me emailed that isn't "good enough" for SIH, I just have certain needs for the site right now.

Right now, the only thing I'm waiting for are samples from some of the applicants, which I expect to have by Wednesday. I will then be making an announcement of the new writers on the blog on Friday, so keep your eyes open for it.

There will be most likely six new additions (maybe 7) to go along with the rest of the team. Some people will post daily, while others will only post several times a week. Besides all the news we already post here, these new writers will add more minor league news and articles, analysis, and opinion pieces. I feel these additions will be a great boost for the site and help take it to the next level.

I'm still trying to figure out how to open up posting to the fans (like SB Nation) so that everyone, including those that I do not pick, can share their voice from time to time.
