Cash on Joba: "He's a starter in the bullpen"

From Anthony Rieber (hat-tip to Steve Lombardi):
“He’s a starter in the bullpen,” Cashman said in a telephone interview. “He can do both. He’s a starter who was just beaten out in the competition. That’s what we honestly believe, but we only had one spot.”
Does this mean that one day Joba will be moved back into the rotation? If so, are the Yankees serious? I have always seen him as a starter, but to move the kid back and forth, year after year, is freaking ridiculous.

Seriously, this whole Joba situation is starting to give me a headache.

... Oh, one more thing: Dave Eiland was on The Michael Kay show earlier this afternoon, and said that he doesn't think Yankees will move Joba into the rotation mid season if a starter goes down. He said it would be too dangerous. He also did say that Joba could start in the future, even next year.
