- D.J. Mitchell struggled in his first spring outing. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 1 inning pitched.
- Robinson Cano picked up two more hits and is now hitting .714 this spring.
- Jesus Montero went 1-for-1 to raise his average to .667.
- Mark Teixeira picked up his first hit of the spring.
- Brett Gardner, who has been working on his bunting, picked up a drag bunt single today in the third.
Tomorrow's Game
The Yankees will play two split squad games tomorrow, both starting at 1 p.m. One of the games will be played at home in Tampa against the Phillies. And the other game will be in Bradenton as the other squad takes on the Pirates. Javier Vazquez will face Kyle Kendrick in Tampa, while Alfredo Aceves starts in Bradenton against Paul Maholm. The game against the Phillies will be on YES and the MLBN.
