There Will Be "Hughes Rules"

I've hear people saying that there won't be "Hughes Rules" this year, but as we find out from Mark Hale there will be limitations, although not as strict as the ones put on Joba last year.
The Yankees still haven’t finalized their plan for limiting Hughes’ innings.

“We’ve started to map it out. Like Joba’s, I’m not going to give you the exact plan,” Joe Girardi said. “We’ll continue to map it out here. Last year it was mapped out, and the map changed a few times because of injuries.”

Girardi has said Hughes’ inning cap should be higher than Chamberlain’s last year. Hughes’ is probably in the 170-175 range.
So while he won't be restricted to the 157.1 innings Joba threw in the regular season, he will have limits. Hopefully, the Yankees will be able to handle these limitations better than they did with Joba last year. It's worth pointing out that Joba did actually throw
