Before we get to the games here are two pieces of news I wanted to pass along:

• More bad news for Christian Garcia. Yesterday, an MRI revealed that he has a torn ligament in his elbow. He's likely done for the season and headed to his second Tommy John surgery in the last three years. The kid just cannot stay healthy.

• Manuel Banuelos was scratched from his start today. Not sure the reason, but it's probably injury related.
