PITCHING: Jason Hirsh got the start for SWB and pitched a gem. He had a no-hitter with 2 outs in the 8th inning when he gave up a solo homer to Corky Miller and was immediately relieved. He allowed 3 walks in the game with 2 strikeouts. He picked up the win (1-3). 101 pitches - 62 strikes, 10 groundouts - 10 flyouts.
Hirsh’s line: 7.2 IP, 1 run, 1 hit, 2 K’s--3 walks. ERA 3.91.

Jonathan Albaladejo came in for Hirsh to get the final out of the 8th. Alabladejo made it interesting in the 9th when he issued 2 walks, but held on to pick up his 6th save.

OFFENSE: Ben Jukich got the start for Louisville. The Yanks took a 1-0 lead in the 4th when Juan Miranda hit his 3rd homer of the year. In the 6th, David Winfree walked, Miranda and Jesus Montero singled to load the bases. Greg Golson knocked in Miranda on a rbi groundout to give the Yanks a 2-0 lead at the time.

Juan Miranda led the offense with a solo homer and single. Jesus Montero and Colin Curtis added 2 singles. Eduardo Nunez, David Winfree and Reegie Corona each added a hit.

MONTERO WATCH: Jesus Montero had a good game going 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. The out came on a groundout. Montero was in a 1-15 slump coming into this game. He’s hitting .258.

NOTES: Aroldis Chapman, the Cuban phenom, gets the start Wednesday for Louisville. ... Dellin Betances made an extended spring training start yesterday and was throwing between 92-95 mph. He was also happy with his control.... Damon Sublett was placed on the DL with a thumb injury.
