YANKEES SWEEPSTAKES TICKET GIVEAWAY OFFERS FANS CHANCE TO CHEER ON TEAM

Turkey Hill Dairy gives portion of sales to support youth throughout New York City

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (April 20, 2010) – The champions are back and after a historic 2009 season, New York Yankees fans have another reason to celebrate as the 2010 season kicks-off. Turkey Hill Dairy, the “Official Ice Cream Sponsor of the New York Yankees,” is offering fans a chance to win free tickets to Yankees regular season home games.

Eighty-one winners will be chosen through a bi-weekly drawing to win four tickets to a regular season game. Turkey Hill Dairy will also award a grand prize that, in addition to the game tickets, will include dinner with a former Yankees player at NYY Steak—Yankee Stadium’s signature restaurant. In addition, Turkey Hill is introducing new commemorative packaging honoring the team’s 27 World Championships, and featuring Turkey Hill’s Vanilla Premium Ice Cream.

“Last year, the Yankees had a fantastic season, and we know part of that was due to their supportive fans cheering them on to victory,” said Turkey Hill President Quintin Frey. “By giving away tickets again this year, we hope Yankees fans will bring just as much spirit to the games.”

To enter the ticket sweepstakes, fans can look for the entry code on specially-marked packages of Turkey Hill’s Yankees Bronx Bombers Sundae or Pinstripe Brownie Blast ice cream flavors, and enter the participant code at turkeyhill.com/yankees. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Yankees flavors will be donated to support the Kips Bay and Madison Square Boys & Girls Clubs in the Bronx. The club helps to improve and enhance the quality of life of youth throughout New York City.

Turkey Hill’s Yankees flavors are available at Yankee Stadium and in retail stores throughout the tri-state area. Bronx Bombers Sundae features chocolate ice cream with chocolate cookie swirl and chocolate-covered crunchies, while Pinstripe Brownie Blast features vanilla ice cream with brownie batter swirl and brownie pieces.
