According to Mark Feinsand, a source says the Yankees agreed to terms to re-sign Chad Gaudin on Wednesday and will add him to their bullpen as a long reliever for tonight's regularly scheduled game against the Twins. Here's a little more from Feinsand:
Gaudin's arrival may mean that the Yankees received bad news on Alfredo Aceves, who suffered a setback with his injured back on Tuesday and could be headed for surgery to repair a herniated disk.I like the move. It won't save their season or anything like that, but the added depth can't hurt.
