Natale has a great bat coupled with excellent plate discipline and pitch recognition. Surprised many scouts with his early pro performances. While his defense at second base has improved since joining the organization, his glove likely won't cut it at second at the big league level. As such, Natale spends a lot of time at first base and designated hitter. Plays first adequately. Hard worker with good leadership skills. A very likeable teammate. He's played mostly second through his career, and has also played a little first base. I assume he's headed to Scranton.
