Yanks Talk To Edwin Jackson's Agent & Others

The Yankees have had a preliminary discussion with the agent for free agent pitcher Edwin Jackson.

Since Brian Cashman said last week that pitching will be the Yankees' top priority, the GM has talked with Bob Garber, who represents C.J. Wilson and Roy Oswalt, and Scott Boras, Jackson's agent.

Not a big fan of Jackson's. I'd rather the Yankees spend the extra coin on a guy like Wilson or even Darvish if their scouts liked what they saw.
