Brian Cashman said on YES tonight that the Yankees have signed Jason Lane to a minor-league deal.
It can't hurt, but I still don't understand why the Yankees needed another outfielder.

Great pickup. The last 2 seasons he has not had a fair chance to play. Sitting him only to come into game situations. When he was given playing time is when he hit the homers/rbis. I know he is working hard this offseason and I think mentaly we will see a new Lane. Maybe better then the 05 Lane. Only time will tell!
