NLDS: Mets over DBacks 3-1, Dodgers over Brewers 3-1
NLCS: Mets over Dodgers 4-2
World Series: Yankees over Mets 4-3
I'm a Yankee fan, so it should be no surprise I'm picking them to go all the way. Plus you gotta finish off the storied career of the old Stadium with one more championship.
AWARDS
AL MVP: Alex Rodriguez - .304, 48 HR, 140 RBI
NL MVP: Prince Fielder - .292, 52 HR, 126 RBI
Expect A-Rod to continue to be A-Rod. There's no reason why he can't win back-to-back MVP's. Another guy to keep your eye on in the AL is Miguel Cabrera. He's a beast, and finally is in a lineup where he is surrounded by good hitters.
Fielder is one of the best young hitters in the game, if he has a year like he did last year, and can carry the Brewers into the postseason as I expect him to do, he better start making some room in his trophy case for some new hardware.
Other guys to watch are Ryan Howard, David Wright, Matt Holiday, and 2007 MVP Jimmy Rollins.
AL Cy Young: Erik Bedard 18-8, 3.30 ERA
NL Cy Young: Johan Santana 20-5, 2.83 ERA
Johan Santana in the NL? Are you kidding me? He should have little trouble putting up numbers like that.
Bedard was 13-6 with a 3.16 ERA, and on his way to at least contending for the 2007 Cy Young until he had to be shut down at the end of August. If he can stay healthy he should be able to reproduce his numbers from '07.
2008 All Star Game @ Yankee Stadium: AL wins 9-7.

Nice, pretty close to what I picked... I would love to see a Yankees-Dodgers World Series. That would be awesome.
I like the predictions of the standings except, I dont think the Brewers will win the div. I think the Cubs are the strongest team in the NL Central and will lead the way, from April to October.
Yeah, I could see the Cubs winning, but I think the Brewers are headed in the right direction and may make major strides this season.
Wow, the Orioles are that bad huh? So this could be the year the O's amazing run finishing 4th in 9 of the past 10 years ends. I'm really bummed.
Not just Yankee stadium, but the last season for Shea too. That would make a subway series this year INSANE!!!!
X,
Yea, it really would be awesome. As long as the Yankees win of course.

The Yankees aren`t looking to hot this year. Hopefully they can pull it off. I`m a Yankee fan. Another to watch for this year is the Rays. Go ahead and laugh. But they have Sheilds and Kazmir and Sonnanstine and Carlos Pena. Plus there #1 in AL in the bullpen. I think many people are going to be surprised this year. So my predictions for the AL East is that the Yanks win the division and the Rays get the WC. Laugh all you want but you wait and see.
@Greg Cohan
There was a Dodgers/Yankees World Series.
1981 World Series: Dodgers win in 6.
I personally see the Phillies and Rays going farther than they've gone before in recent years.
Looks like the Rays will win the Division....Hopefully the YAnks will scratch past Boston and Minnesota or Chicago to get the Wild Card....
Yea, my predictions aren't looking so hot, oh well, what can ya do?
yes, your American league predictions were particularly sour. Just goes to show $ doesn't produce champions. Go Rays I guess.
Yea yankees need to fire cashman.....
Yanks is Dead
Yea, sure looks that way.
These predictions are tough, you never know how things will work out.
I am rooting for the Dodgers, though. I'm a big Joe Torre fan.
