"I support him," Posada said. "If he says he didn't take it, I'm behind him 100 percent. He keeps going forward with it. He's probably going to go to trial now, and he sounded real forceful the other day. I believe Rocket."Well there's one person who believes Clemens is innocent. At least he's loyal.
"Rocket is one of my favorite teammates ever ... I think it doesn't really take anything away from what he did."
Posada even believes Clemens' story that the reason his account and Pettitte's differ is because Pettitte "misremembers" that conversation they had about HGH eight or nine years ago.
"Rocket said that it was miscommunication, or whatever. And I believe Rocket."
Here's what he had to say about Pettitte:
"As soon as he gets on the baseball field, I think he's going to be able to forget it real quick," Posada said of Pettitte. "I think, when it comes to baseball, it's easier. You can concentrate on the game and do what you need to do."This is a much different take on the situation than Mike Mussina had yesterday. I don't think Posada understands, or more likely, wants to admit how hard this may actually turn out to be for Pettitte.
Posada is also pleased with the roster the team has: "It was going to take a lot to get him. I'm happy with the way we stand. We've got the young guys, and giving away Melky Cabrera -- for me, there was no way you can lose your center fielder. Johan is a great pitcher, but to lose Melky Cabrera or [Phil] Hughes in a package, it's tough."

Yeah great Jorge. You basically just called Andy your teammate a liar. Nice way to start the year off.
He's trying to be loyal to two people at once. Which is very hard. And like you said, usually you seem like your siding against someone. In this case Pettitte.
