Jeter on Cover of Men's Health

This article is the same sort of thing as the A-Rod article from Men's Vogue.

Here's a couple quotes from the Captain.

On being competitive:
"You tell me you want to race down the street, I'm going to try to beat you," he says. "My grandmother asks me to race down the street, I'm going to try to beat her. And I'll probably enjoy it." He chuckles at that. "Competitive to a fault, sometimes. When I was younger, my dad used to beat me at everything. You know the showcase at the end of The Price is Right? When I was 5, he used to beat me at the showcase every day before afternoon kindergarten. I'm 5 years old! I don't know the prices!"
On going to sleep early:
"I used to laugh when my parents went to bed after 60 Minutes, but now I'm just like them," he says. "I say to myself, 'This is your job.' When it's all said and done, the worst thing you can say is, 'Ah, well, I could've been better if I'd worked a little harder.'"
Loser...

On baseball's performance enhancing drug problem:
"It just sheds a terrible light on the sport. Now everything in baseball is steroid-related. Now everything is speculation. You hear people saying, 'Well, that guy must be doing it, too, and that guy.' That's unfair. I'm not talking about any particular player, but people are having to defend themselves against speculation. I think that's only going to become worse."

"Baseball is trying to clean itself up, which is good," he says. "But you're always going to have people saying it's not enough. You could say if a guy tests positive once, he's kicked out of the game for 2 years, and someone out there will say it should be 3 years. You're never going to please everyone."
And did you know, very soon you will be able to work out at Derek Jeter Fitness? And, he wants to be a MLB owner someday.
Jeter knows he's getting older, but there's no aging-jock denial in him. In fact, he has specific plans for postcareer business ventures. He already has a deal to open 24 Hour Fitness Derek Jeter Clubs in New York City. (He's the owner, not an endorser -- "I pick the colors, the logos, the floors, everything.") But even further down the line? "I want to be an owner in baseball," he says.
Just like the A-Rod article, there is a rundown of Jeter's workout routine.
