NOTES:
The forecast in Boston says there's a 40% chance of showers throughout the night... great. ... As I stated earlier Derek Jeter is likely to miss the entire series due to his quad injury. Tonight is the first time since 1996 that Jeter will miss a game in Fenway Park. ... Mike Timlin was activated from the DL today and will be in the Sox bullpen this weekend. ... Normally I'd be against Matsui playing in the field, but LF in Fenway is so small even Manny can do a decent job, so I don't mind this that much. ... Nothing is wrong with Damon he's just getting the day off.

Brandon,

I like Fenway for historical purposes, same as Wrigley, I'm glad they're still around. But that's about it, seems like an uncomfortable place to watch a game.

Yea I know what you mean Greg, but I'd still love to see the place bull-dozed to the ground.

hahahaha, yea I know what you mean.

Both pitchers are really rolling. Nice duel we got going on here.

I think the Yanks are real close to getting to Buchholz.

When are the Yankees going to realize every time Buchholz needs a strike he throws a curve?

Last year the Sox handed the Yankees their heads... lets hope the Yankees will get a better start....

Greg Cohen said...

You're right mac, they owned us last April. They Yanks need to score some runs and not waste this performance from Wang.

Didn't the Yankees start Karstens or Rasner and Chase Wright in that series last year?

Greg Cohen said...

Yea Brandon, Pettitte started the first game, and Mo blew the save, then Karstens and Wright started the next two.
