Why is Ensberg playing against a righty?

I understand why Cano is sitting, he's been awful, but Giambi has been hitting the ball hard the last few nights.

Greg Cohen said...

I dunno, they said something on the pre-game about the team getting into Tampa very early in the morning, so Girardi wanted to give as many of the regulars off as he could.

PLAY BALL!!!

... YEA JOHNNY!

Nice way to start the game.

Greg Cohen said...

Yo, what's up Patrick?

Anonymous said...

Hey man, hows it going?

They really need a win tonight. Gotta get that record over .500 before they're looking up at something like the 11-19 of last year.

Greg Cohen said...

Well they certainly got off to a better start than usual Patrick. I think they're 4-1 when they score first.

Anonymous said...

That's for sure. Great start.

ENSBERG!

I guess that's why he's starting.

Hey Greg,

I run Pinstripe Alley and I linked to your site today regarding the new Stadium images on our own Game Thread.

Hey Anaconda,

Pinstripe Alley is a great site, I check it often.

Thanks for the link, I really appreciate it.

What a great job by Moeller right there.

I can't believe this is the first time this team has scored more than 6 runs. Unbelievable.

Better late than never.

Gotta go, in the words of the great Michael Kay, SEE YA!

Greg Cohen said...

haha, See ya dude.

Yanks offense looks really good so far (finally) and so does Kennedy.

Greg Cohen said...

Yea, they look good tonight, hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

Anonymous said...

Where'd everybody go?

Anonymous said...

A-Rod ... 4 for 4 ... maybe the sleeping giant is waking up finally!

Greg Cohen said...

Yea Mo, A-Rod looks like he's got his swing back.

Anonymous said...

I hope Kennedy is OK, that looked painful.

Greg Cohen said...

He should be fine, it looked like it hit him on the hip, and he was probably gonna come out of the game anyway.

I'm much more concerned with the Yankees holding this lead.

Bruney fucking sucks.

Mark McCray said...

hey did Kennedy get hurt?

Mark McCray said...

alright. good deal. just read above. damn Yankees. if they lose this game. I am going to pissssssed

Greg Cohen said...

He got hit on what appeared to be his hip with a line drive, he should be fine.

CANO! What a big shot for Robbie right there.

Anonymous said...

Cano is a great pinch hitter ... maybe that hit will get him moving in the right direction. Has to be a great moral booster!

And Mariano seals the deal!!!

YES!

Yea Mo, I'm hoping that he found his stroke there.. Great job by Mo in the 9th, he's been lights-out so far this year.
