PITCHING: Steven White pitched 6.2 innings of 2 hit shutout ball and picked up the win to raise his season mark to 3-1. He lowered his era to 2.68. The only downfall was the 4 walks he issued. White had 3 strikeouts. White stranded a runner on 3rd base in the 1st inning after a single, stolen base, and throwing error on catcher Chris Stewart. ... In the 5th he gave up a double and again stranded the runner at 3rd. White left the game after a 2-out double in the 7th leading 5-0. ... White threw 97 pitches--53 strikes. 6 groundouts---10 flyouts. White's gone at least 5 innings in 15 of his last 16 games.Billy Traber got the final out of the 7th inning.
