The Yankees dropped their second straight to the Cleveland Indians and fell to a game under .500 tonight at The Stadium. Chien-Ming Wang started for the Yanks and pitched well. In 7 innings he allowed just 3 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks which really hurt him. He also struck out 4. Even with the walks he pitched well enough to get a win, but the offense took another night off.
Kyle Farnsworth and Jonathan Albaladejo both pitched scoreless innings in relief, though Albaladejo really didn't pitch well and was really helped out by Jose Molina who turned a nifty double play to end the top of the 9th.

INDIANS PITCHING
Like I said before the Yankees offense took another night off as Cliff Lee continues his amazing start to the year. The Yankees problem was they were too patient. Lee has walked 2 guys all year and has been doing nothing but throw strikes, and apparently the Yankees didn't get the memo. They constantly took pitches and fell behind almost every count because of it. Sometimes you need to be aggressive at the plate and tonight was one of those nights.
Surprisingly enough the only Yankee with more than one hit was the most patient Yankee, Bobby Abreu. Shelley Duncan, Hideki Matsui, Melky Cabrera, and Robinson Cano each had one hit.
The Indians bullpen (Perez and Betancourt) also did their job, retiring 6 of the 7 Yankees batters they faced.

Yankees fell off a Cliff this game. Impressive pitching performance by Lee. That's baseball, oh well!
