Kyle Farnsworth had his appeal heard on Tuesday for his three-game suspension for throwing behind Manny Ramirez on April 17th. "I think we had a good case and our point got put across pretty good," Farnsworth said. "I feel good about it." ... UPDATE 6:01 PM: Alberto Gonzalez was optioned to Scranton to make room for Wilson Betemit. What a stupid move.

I'm furious after this game. I haven't been this angry since last October. It's always so important to win the first game, now that we blew this game it looks like we probably will lose this series. We're slowy slipping away from the Sox. I see there's no other great team other than Boston, and they have some flaws too. We may regret losing these games to Cleveland and Detroit later in the season.- I continue to have less faith in this Yankee team.

I'm very annoyed at this game as well, but I'm not willing to give up on the series yet. I'm not impressed by Cliff Lee's stuff, and Paul Byrd doesn't scare me either. The Yankees can win the next two games.

But you are absolutely right about Boston, they keep winning, and now with tonight's loss the Yanks are 4.5 games behind. This was a game they should have won.
