Anyone else think that was illest thunderstorm ever earlier? I just sat on my stoop n watched that shit.. heard dogs buggin out all up n down the block haha.
Nah I wasn't too pleased with it. I was in Central Park playing softball and our game was ruined by the storm. I then had to walk 35 blocks in the pouring rain. Not fun, but at least the Yankees won.
Hahaha nice dude. Nothin like the trapped on the streets of manhattan in the pouring rain trot. Im glad I didnt go out tonight.
So do you play it fair and bench melky tomorrow even though he went 2 for 2 with 2 rbis n 2 bbs? I think getting back Matsui n Posada (and hopefully a patient Cano) will help the lineup make up for the lack of arm in centerfield. Plus, Wangs back to his old self as of his last start, going back to that groundball heavy sinker. I think we can stick Damon in center.
It was a sick storm out here on Long Island, my baseball game was cancelled in the top of the first, I was on deck. I predicted an 8-4 win yesterday, but I was a day premature. 4-1 on this road trip, its been good so far and if we complete the sweep tomorrow it will be a great road trip. Wang tomorrow, Oswalt hasn't been great so far, offense looked good today. Here we come!
Derek,
I have no problem with them benching Melky tomorrow, like you said they need to get Matsui back in the lineup.
anon,
It has been a good road trip, a sweep tomorrow would be very nice, but they just need to keep winning series, and on this trip they're two for two in that category.
