Darrell Rasner and Edwar Ramirez pitched very well, they did their jobs, but offensively tonight's performance was a joke.

The Royals came into town with an 11 game road losing streak, the Yanks were coming off their best win of the year, Kyle Davies had a lifetime ERA of 6.16 heading into the game, and this was the outcome.

I have nothing more to say about this game.

Here's the box score:

Rasner (L, 3-3) 8.0 9 2 2 0 4 0 2.58
Ramirez 1.0 1 0 0 0 2 0 2.65

They have used up their energy celebrating the walk-off homer in last night's party.

It sure looked like it.

Where's that poster who keeps insisting this "powerhouse team" is going to come around and make the playoffs, LOL? I've been saying they'll end up in 3rd place this year. Looks like 4th or even 5th is more realistic.

There doesn't seem to be any chemistry on this team. When the pitching is great the offense is isn't, and when the bats are hitting the pitching is woeful. What's the deal with Wang he was lights out earlier in the year and now he's getting pounded every game. Somebody has to step up and be a leader.

Supposedly Wang's mechanics are all screwed up.
