A Cape Cod man is accused of beating another man with a baseball bat because he thought he was a New York Yankees fan.IT'S JUST BASEBALL FOLKS! So please, stop this crap.
Robert Correia is headed to an arraignment today in Massachussetts. He is charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon and malicious destruction to a motor vehicle.
Correia and some friends were stuck in traffic after a fireworks display over the weekend when they spotted a car with New York license plates.
The group accused the vacationer, whose children were in the car, of being a Yankees fan, then beat him and vandalized his car.
The man, whose name wasn't released, was treated at Falmouth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head and body.

This is at least the third incident already this season, and it's embarrassing to all (real) fans of both teams. Here's the details of the latest incident from The Record:

Most Red Sox fans are scumbags, so I'm not suprised. They're still jealous of NY, even though they're the champs. I'm suprised that this stuff doesnt happen more often, especially at Yankee Stadium/ Fenway. People think they're so tough when they're with other people/ friends. If any of them were there by themself nothing would have happened.
Little Calogero to Joe Pesci: "Was that fight really over a parking space?"
Pesci: "No."
It's sites and comments like the ones found at http://ftheredsox.blogspot.com/ that flame the "kill'em all" attitude between some Yankee and Red Sox fans...
Maybe he should tone it down a bit eh...
If he's being an asshole to Red Sox fans, how do would you expect them to act toward Yankee fans...?
Reflect and ponder...
Are you really suggesting that this stuff occurs because some blogger may say F-Boston?
If someone is a blogger is an a-hole to you that doesn't mean you attack a different Yankees/Red Sox fan for no reason.
