Notes: ***Joba headed to see Dr. James Andrews***

Here's more from George King:

Sources say Joba Chamberlain is on his way to visit Dr. James Andrews for a further diagnosis on his ailing pitching shoulder.

Chamberlain, who left last night's game against Texas with stifness in his right shoulder, had an MRI exam at Columbia Presbyterian today. The Yankees said no imformation on the result would be released.

However, sources close to the team said the 22-year-old will be examined by the famed orthopedist.

It's never good when anyone goes to see Dr. James Andrews. Just another kick in the balls for the 2008 New York Yankees.

Yanks vs. Harrison:
Harrison has never faced any of the Yankees' hitters.

Rangers vs. Pettitte:

is Christian the new CF? or is he just going with the hot hand? since melky is ice cold.

There are probably two factors:

1) Melky has been horrible from the right side and a lefty is pitching.

2) As you said, Girardi may also be sticking with the hot hand.

Great this guy has never faced the Yankees before, we all know what happens next. 7IP 0R 2H box score.

Greg Cohen said...

I'm hoping that doesn't happen, but as soon as I realized that they were facing a bum they've never faced I began to wonder.

haha i thought the same EXACT thing. 7 IP 2 hits

that 1-2 pitch to Hamilton looked like a strike. But of course, instead of a inning ending strikeout he hits a homerun. With 2outs. bad start

if we didnt have bad luck we'd have no luck at all. after all this frustration and disappointment this year I think we deserve a championship as compensation.

I knew I would be writing this: Jeter ANOTHER FUCKING DOUBLEPLAY! As soon as he came up I swear I knew he would do it again. He is bad, what happened?

FUCKING DEREK!!! It's like Michael Kay said, ever since Daniel Cabrera hit Derek with a pitch in the hand he hasn't been the same this year. Derek needs an off day or something to get his shit straight.

well if Joba is out, then just give him the rest of the year off. He hasnt really done anything all year.

Kennedy to start on Saturday!( rotoworld)

why the fuck would you bring melky up as a pinch hitter? girardi sometimes you make it look like the dumbest son of bitch on earth.

damn it...

Jeter once again does not get a clutch hit. And I've seen his " I've got an Edge" commercial 1,000 times more than I've seen him get a hit.

Sox and Rays are going to win.

This team, is without any doubt, significantly cursed. Perhaps cursed by several souces in several different ways. If it's not a serious injury to an All-Star caliber player, it will be via line outs by our hitters and dribblers finding holes by the opposition's hitters. One way or another, lady luck finds a way to screw us.

"Jeter once again does not get a clutch hit."

Are you effing seriously going to knock him for that frozen rope to 2nd base? The guy's having a bad year, of course, but for cyring out loud, give him a break.

Melky Cabrera was the one that killed the heart of the rally.

they suck, its just about over for this team. this is a series that we really should be win 3 out of 4, but now we'll prob lose 3 out of 4.

I'm gonna write some loving, encouraging letters to our beloved Captain Mr. DP Jeter and Mr. Madonna and ask them nicely to stop hitting into %^&*&*#@@** double play.
