What's the over/under on hits for (giambi,no hit ROD , and Pudge)
I say 5
BB
under, 3
Why is Giambi still hitting 5th? He is crap.Maybe he needs more HGH
Boy isn't this Cashman built Yankee team something to watch. What a pitching staff Cashman has assembled! Ponson, Rasner, Pettitte, 39 year old Mussina
Man can you rip the ball Jeter. Wooooooo weeeeeeeeeee. Smoking the ball Jeter. Another loser and his wiffle ball bat swing. Go to Greenwich Jeter. You'll fit in nice.
This game proves that Feinsand, Cashman, the Yankees FO and Girardi are morons. There is no bigger loser than this team right now.
this team is a joke. way to show up douchebags. yeah it was ponson, but we were vs. byrd. the offense has to put up some runs, and as usual they dont. we need a new squad with no abreu,no arod, no cano, no melky, no giambi, the list goes on.
this team has too many problems, why cant we have a gm who actually plans out the team, instead of just getting overrated, over priced "stars".
i'm starting to believe that asshole skip bayliss, "the yankees will never win a world series with arod on the team." he's a great player, great guy, but he's not a winner. abreu is the biggest pussy i have ever seen. if he goes near the wall he'll shit his pants. cano- terrible atbats, no hustle to groundballs. melky- worst hitter ever. giambi- no explanation, teixiera is better.
someone has to flip a shit in that damn clubhouse. i thought girardi was more tough. i see him crying on tv everyother week. someone punch the watercooler, charge the mound, something! we better not get swept, i swear to god...
the motto this offseason: CHANGE!!
Gee maybe it's time to consider the fact that maybe Joe Girardi sold the Yankees a bill of goods when he was interviewed for the job. I remember being promised hit and run ball, aggressive base running, plate discipline, benchings for non performance and getting in players faces. Pitchers and players dropping like flys after under performing, just like what got him fired in Florida. Oh yeah and his choice of coaches.... Dave Eiland only won five games his whole career, this is who you entrust turning young pitching into winners? Bobby Mitchum?!!!! And I still can't find any long time Yankee fan who even knows who the bench coach is!
Thats it! Im callin Michael Kay tomorrow and asking why they arent playing Molina more often and why cant Matsui be brought up to 5th, I think A-Rod n Giambi being split up will help the both of them greatly. Lets see if I can stir some insight.
Molina has been getting Luis Sojo-type hits with guys on base this year. He's prob been the anti-A-Rod this year, and ONLY hits in big spots. Whats the worst that can happen, he can ask joe about it, or use it as in-game insight, either would be great.
P.S. Might as well get excited about miracle intangibles, at this point the gameplay is out of the question.
Cant wait for my Dolphins' miracle comeback to the pack this year. Im sayin 9-7 this year, Ill take anyone for 50 bones on that.
You think Im crazy? Try me.
I'm a Red Sox fan and all, but c'mon. What the hell is going on with your boys this year. 10.5 games out of the division? 7 games back of the Red Sox i.e., 7 games out of the Wild Card. And to see the Yankees play last night you’d of thought they had already clinched the division. Where is the hunger and the determination that have made the Yankees, the Yankees for so many seasons. Have they finally become that group of guns for hire with no chemistry, basically playing for the paycheck and not the logo on front of the shirt? Mercenaries, if you will. Because they was absolutely no interest coming from the players last night. Bobby Abreu comically “crashing” into the wall summed up the Yankees passion and sense of urgency last night

The 3 stooges went 3 for 12
Another night of under achievement.
Dan,
HILARIOUS post. The lines "abreu is the biggest pussy i have ever seen. if he goes near the wall he'll shit his pants." and "i thought girardi was more tough. i see him crying on tv everyother week." were absolutely brilliant.
the team is a bunch of cry babies who don't give a s***.
