AJ BURNETT IS NOT THIS GOOD, STOP MAKING HIM LOOK LIKE A SUPER STAR!!!!

Greg Cohen said...

I agree, the guy has an ERA in the mid 4's. He's not as unhittable as he looks against this team.

Anonymous said...

Damn it, that was so close.

Greg Cohen said...

Atta boy Bobby! That's how it's done.

Anonymous said...

OMG THEY SCORED A RUN OFF THE MIGHTY BURNETT, IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME!!!

Anonymous said...

OMG ANOTHER RUN!!!!

Anonymous said...

OFF THE MIGHTY BURNETT!!!

Jon Bachrach said...

Bobby is playing much better than he did that time against the mets when the mets won 11-2

M-Rod said...

what about Carl? looks like he's throwin a beauty

Greg Cohen said...

Yeah Jonny, Abreu has been playing very well lately.

And Pavano is pitching a gem, I just hope he can keep it up without injuring himself. And why is he always grimacing?

Anonymous said...

Fucking Scutaro! Why is it always Sucutaro?

Jon Bachrach said...

Do you yanks still have a chance of making it to the playoffs this year?

M-Rod said...

have you seen this yet?
http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/ballpark/new_stadium_relocation_guide.jsp

Greg Cohen said...

Technically, yes they do, but it's going to be very very tough.

Greg Cohen said...

I've seen the 3D seating thing, I had a post about it yesterday, but I haven't seen the rest of that info.

M-Rod said...

yeah i tried the page this morning and i guess it wasnt up yet. there is some fucked up shit in there

Jon Bachrach said...

a rods average is only .308 . . . what a suckie batting average!

Jon Bachrach said...

fuck double play

Greg Cohen said...

It's not his .308 average, it's hit .240 average with runners in scoring position that bothers people.

... Godriguez, what's fucked up? I didn't read the whole thing.

Jon Bachrach said...

those double plays are killing him cant he just sack fly or something? He needs a goo talking to

Anonymous said...

10 DPs in a month? Holy shit Alex!

Jon Bachrach said...

good talking to

Greg Cohen said...

72 pitches? Girardi is a moron. It's the 7th inning and he's pitching great, use Pavano for one more and see what you get.

Now he's gonna have to use half the bullpen and they have Rasner going tomorrow.

M-Rod said...

the way they eliminated plans, and you need the 41 game plan for opening day now, the way the 41 game plan is opening day then you every other game for the rest of the season and how the 20 gamer is every fourth game. there arent as many options. at least no PSLs unless you have thousands upon thousands of dollars to thrown down on the luxury seats

Greg Cohen said...

I see, well it seems that everything they're doing with the new place is going to hurt the average fan, so why would this be any different?

Greg Cohen said...

DON'T MOVE A MUSCLE!

God Bless America is playing!

Anonymous said...

I just farted, is that okay?

Jon Bachrach said...

Sounds like Michael Bloomberg was in charge is building this new stadium

Anonymous said...

They might need 3 or 4 more runs if Veras is coming in.

Jon Bachrach said...

next time i'm at the stadium and god bless america is playing i'm keeping my hat on. what's the difference? Some douchebag will probably tell me to take it off though.

Greg Cohen said...

Yes, and someone else will call you a Communist.

Anonymous said...

Fucking Veras. Leadoff double. I knew he going to blow this.

Greg Cohen said...

This is why I would have liked another inning out of Pavano.

Did I hear that correctly? They're finally teaching this team to bunt? ON AUGUST 29th? TRAILING BY SIX IN THE WILD CARD? Where was this in June?

Anonymous said...

I can't believe how badly this team need Kyle Farnsworth.

Jon Bachrach said...

this is too close for my liking

Jon Bachrach said...

great now girardi has to use half of his bullpen

Anonymous said...

Oh no, not Scutaro.

Anonymous said...

YES!

Greg Cohen said...

Great job by Mo. He deserves a couple insurance runs from this offense now.

Jon Bachrach said...

jeter is laying an egg this game

Greg Cohen said...

Yep, it hasn't been a good one for The Captain.

Jon Bachrach said...

STRUCK

Jon Bachrach said...

HIM

Jon Bachrach said...

OUT

Greg Cohen said...

Mo's the greatest. And Pavano was pretty damn good too tonight. Good win.

Anonymous said...

YA MO! Way to fix Girardi's boneheaded managing.

Jon Bachrach said...

Indeed. Big Win. Maybe Girardi will learn from this experience

Anonymous said...

Is it Girardi's fault these idiots cant bunt? NO. You learn this stuff in Little League. It's a joke that damon , cano etc cannot bunt.

Greg Cohen said...

Well it's the coaching staff's fault they don't practice bunting more. And it's the organization's fault that guys like Cano and Melky can't bunt.

You learn how to bunt a 45 MPH pitch in little league not a 95 MPH pitch. It's very different, and not as easy as some people imagine.
