They should fire the genius who hit a foul ball into the Yankees dugout and almost put Pavano on the DL AGAIN.
Tue, Sep 9 Jeff Birnbaum, of MLB.com, reports Colorado Rockies OF Brad Hawpe has 23 home runs on the season. 13 of his 23 home runs this year have either tied the game or given the team the lead. He leads the team with 22 go-ahead RBIs this season.
Always loved this guy... too bad we already have two Right Fielders... Love me some B-Hawpies.
Aceves pitched very well last night... Good game for him and the Yankees. I know they're not making the playoffs, but it's still nice to win a game.
