I was so happy Moose got #20, and it was hilarious to watch Papelbon's temper tantrum in the dugout in a meaningless game. wtf was that all about?

So am I, I'm very happy for Moose.

I missed the final inning so I didn't see Papelbon's tantrum.

Wish I did.

Yeah he threw the biggest fit. It was hilarious. He kicked a heater in the dugout, threw his glove down, ripped his jersey off as he went down into the tunnel - it was quite a show. I don't know who or what he was mad at, maybe it was just that he gave up 3 ER for the first time in an outing in his career, but he came off as pretty selfish on the surface of the whole thing. I mean, this was a meaningless game, for the most part, the Sox were already trailing when he came in, so what's the big deal? Sure, be upset - you don't have to be happy, but don't throw a terrible hissy fit in the dugout. It was strange (and hilarious).

Damn, I wish I would have seen that.

Papelbon's hissy fit was hilarious, and so telling. He wants to be considered as great as Mariano, yet you've never, ever seen Mo lose his cool. The mask is off, Papelbon is just a big baby.

Yaaa for Moose, a bright note as an empty October looms for us.

p.s. I am hoping to find photos online for those that didn't get to see it-haven't found any yet.

I was just looking on Youtube for a video, and there is one, but you can barely make out what you're looking at.

As for Papelbon, he will never be Mariano, nobody will.
