Justin Christian Signs With Baltimore

From Peter Schmuck:
The O's signed another player to a minor league contract. He's an outfielder named Justin Christian and he appeared in 24 games with the Yankees last year before being non-tendered. He had 40 at-bats and batted .250 with seven stolen bases in eight attempts. Sounds like he'll fit right in at Norfolk.
And here's what Chad Jennings had to say about the signing:
There does seem to be at least one big league bench job open, though, and Christian should have about as good a shot at it as anyone coming into spring training. Their other spring training invites include Donnie Murphy, Chris Gomez and Jolbert Cabrera, and I wouldn't say any of those three is necessarily better than Christian. More big league time, certainly, but not necessarily better.
Good luck in Baltimore Justin.

good luck to him in Baltimore, hopefully we'll see him next year.

remember that time we were down one in the 9th and he fell down while trying to steal? I'll never forget that.

Nice name by the way by that Baltimore reporter, Schmuck, lol.
