More Dirt On A-Rod Comng

John Koblin of the New York Observer (hat tip to Was Watching) discussed Selena Roberts earlier this week. In case you forgot, she's the SI reporter who broke the A-Rod story.

In the article the editor of her upcoming book on A-Rod, Hit and Run: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez, said that this was just the beginning:
“The book is still a work in progress,” said her book editor, Mr. Hirshey. “I assure you she has more drug revelations as well as other news. Not everything that Selena has on A-Rod’s steroid participation has come out yet.”
The book comes out on May 19th, so just around the time some of the steroid questions begin to die down a bit, this book should create another huge media firestorm. A-Rod must be thrilled.

Of course A-Rod has nothing to fear, he put it all on the table with Peter Gammons.

What _would_ be great is if Roberts had more details on the inner workings of the Rangers those years. MLB (players, coaches, owners, Selig) has taken a "protect your own" stance since the beginning. That needs to be broken wide open for the steroid issue to be cleaned up. That and for-life suspensions.
