- According to the Daily News, A-Rod is a longtime friend of steroid-linked trainer Angel Presinal.
- GNC is pissed at A-Rod for dragging their name through the mud.Angel Presinal, who was banned from private areas of every MLB ballpark after an October 2001 incident involving an unmarked gym bag full of steroids, has been tight with the Yankee slugger dating back to his time with the Texas Rangers, several sources said.
A former New York-area scout says Presinal, whose named surfaced in the Mitchell Report, was with Rodriguez in New York and Miami as recently as this past fall.
"GNC does not sell illegal anabolic steroids," the statement said. "GNC is always troubled when an athlete who cheats himself and his profession attempts to implicitly or explicitly scapegoat another person or organization for his gross lapses in judgment, even if he was 'young and stupid' when it happened. GNC is confident that the public understands the difference between unlawful drugs that one's cousin has to inject into the body and the legal, safe products for sale in its stores."- Apparently Madonna is pissed too.
- According to MLB.com Primbolan, or "boli" is illegal in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Pia Veras, who oversees the agency that monitors pharmaceuticals legally sold in the Dominican Republic, refuted the account Rodriguez told during his Tuesday press conference of his cousin getting "boli" legally over the counter in the Dominican Republic.Apparently Dr. Veras' isn't doing his job because on Wednesday it took the Daily News 2 minutes and $19 to get the drugs in the Dominican Republic. Great oversight Mr. Veras.
"What Alex Rodriguez stated at the press conference doesn't make sense," Veras told ESPNdeportes. "It is important for us to clarify that such substance has not been registered and is not currently registered for legal sale in Dominican pharmacies -- not now and the same applies for the years 2001 to 2003."
- Former Texas Rangers President Mike Cramer is surprised that A-Rod was juicing.
"Having known Alex personally, I was a little more surprised to find out that he was using than if I was just looking at some player from another team I didn't know," Cramer said yesterday before taking part in a panel discussion for the NYU Cal Ramsey Lecture Series about steroids. "There was no evidence, no rumors, no suggestions in our time there together that he was using any illegal substance."

I thought she gave up worrying about that in the '80s?
It's funny how Arod is the only that is making news. The Article also says that David Ortiz and Pedro have been associated with the trainer.
i totally understand AROD did this to himself by taking the shit..but man leave the poor guy alone...he confessed he is the one that has to live with whether or not he lied to the whole world...and please please please release the other names so some of the other guilty members of MLB can take some of the heat as well...its truely unfair that he has had to bear the full brunt of this ALONE
omg enough!!!!! my fucking god
Relax anon.
I'm sick of this. Arod made a mistake and know all the trolls out there are just trying to dig up garbage.. Why is Ortiz and perdro cathching crap because they know this guy?
You're right, Ortiz and anyone else tied to this guy should be scrutinized.
i bought some andro in bulk from GNC in 2004....and andro is way way way more aggressive than ripped fuel. GNC would sell steroids if they could.
You're probably right Craig.
omfg - not a single one of these people or companies has sh*t to stand on. the only people with some right to be f'd about arod are fans and yankee management because they are the ones who paid for arod and who might not have had they known otherwise. modonna gnc - please stfu!
