Anyone watching the WBC? Well, if you have been then you might have noticed that former YES broadcaster Jim Kaat has been calling some of the games. It's great to hear him behind the mic again, and it reminds me of how much I miss hearing him calling Yankees games on YES.
I wonder if there's any chance he come back to YES, even if it's only once in a while like Paul O'Neill. YES' team of analysts could sure use the boost.

Couldn't agree more. I heard him doing the game last night and I immediately recognized his voice and got nostalgic of his work as a Yankees broadcaster. He was and is still one of the best.
definitely...i think every yankee fan would love to have him back...his insight's during the game are second to none...he keeps the game flowing too..always saying something at the right time...there are times now when i will be watching a game, and they will be talking about nothing having to do with anything for a long stretch...
Good News!!!
If you check on the YES website in Kitty's Korner he blogged that he will be returning this year to work with YES and call some games.
It will be nice to hear Kaat and Singelton do some games again.
Did he really? That's awesome.
Great news. I love the baseball analysts on YES. But I am not biggest Kay fan he talks way too much he acts like he is doing a radio talk show during the game.
