The Boss Impressed With The House He Built

From Ian O'Connor:
George Steinbrenner was getting a ride in an oversized golf cart on his way out of Yankee Stadium when asked for his first impressions of his new $1.5 billion home.

“It’s beautiful,” the owner said.

He was wearing a jacket and tie, and the usual dark shades over his eyes. Steinbrenner was riding with team officials and his daughter in the lead vehicle of a two-cart caravan, and a wheelchair was being towed from the rear of his cart.

“What did you like about the ballpark?” the owner was asked.

“It’s unbelievable,” he said.

“Was it better than you expected?”

“Yeah, it’s so big.”
It's just a shame they couldn't get The Boss a win.

I cant' stand Lupica always writing about how much this cost, how much that cost, billions blah blah blah. Its the same old theme from him, look how much they spent, as if its his money. God I can't stand that guy. George put up most of the money for this. Celebrate what he did, what other owner would do so much for his team?

When asked what he liked about the new stadium he replied with “It’s unbelievable,”

It's sad to see/hear that the boss is deteriorating.
