Heyman: Nady Will Avoid Surgery

From Jon Heyman:
Yankees outfielder Xavier Nady has been diagnosed with a ligament strain in his right elbow and will avoid surgery, SI.com has learned.

The Yankees feared originally Nady could be lost for the season with a completely torn ligament, but a review of multiple X-Rays revealed what doctors are now calling merely a strain. He will likely need to rehab the injury for a period of weeks.
Very good news, especially for Nady himself. Coming off of Tommy John surgery isn't the best way to head into the free agent market.

If we can get him back in by, oh Idk, the trade deadline, it will be a great thing, be like getting a player for nothing.

(a player that we already had, lost and had to replace with a much lesser talent)

thats not exactly nothing

Great news we need his right handed bat in the lineup. Wheater against a tough lefty or pinch hitting.

We should be able to win with pitching. emphasis on should. And we got ARod coming back soon.

Good news for the bench.

I was just starting to think about what it would take to get Matt Murton from the Rockies to avoid a John Rodriguez call-up (because I am in charge of all personnel decisions ;) ).

Matt Murton is a good player hearing is name has gotten me a little excited. Yankees should trade for him anyway.

Also Reggie Willits from the angels. He is like a clone of Brett Gardner. Yankees should trade for him and also they can do a lot of marketing of Reggie Willits and Brett Gardner long lost twins!!!!!!!
